Eilis O'Regan

Eilis started yoga over 10 years ago with a beginner’s course in Ashtanga Yoga. Although the course was tough she was smitten by the flow of movement. Initially concerned more with getting into a pose - reaping the benefits from each pose took time. Currently her daily practice is a mix of Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow.

Over the years Eilis has explored her love of yoga and has completed a number of training courses. The most influential were: David Swenson - Primary Series Teacher Training London; Paul Dallagan – yoga retreat Koh Samui, Thailand; Sharath Rangaswamy- mysore practice Goa, India; Ajay Kumar – mysore practice Mysore, India; BNS Iyengar – pranayama Mysore, India, and Prem Carlisi & Heather Duplex - mysore practice Ubud, Bali. She completed her teacher training in 2008 at the Green Lotus Yoga School.

As a teacher Eilis aims to enable students to: work energetically with their breath; become aware of their physical limitations and possibilities; enjoy practicing yoga and the many benefits from it.

Christine Mc Nally

Christine

Christine began practicing hatha yoga in 2000.  She studied ashtanga and integral yoga under the guidance of Camino Diez (Lanzarote, Spain) for 5 years. In 2008, she travelled to Mysore, India to study with Sharath Rangaswamy (The Ashtanga Yoga Institute) for 2 months. She lived in Montpellier, France for over a year (2009-2010) where she practiced ashtanga and vinyasa yoga with Arnaud Kancel (Arjuna Shala).

In 2011, she completed her yoga teacher training with the Sivananda School.

Her teaching style is quite diverse, ranging from a slow meditative class to a more dynamic flowing style. She believes in the transformative power of yoga on many levels and hopes to transmit this to her students.

Christine is grateful to all the great teachers she has had, taking something special from each one. She is especially grateful to Camino whose wisdom and deep experience of yoga has been and continues to be an inspiration.

Fiona Hynes

Fiona took her first yoga class 14 years ago here in Galway, and she was hooked!

It planted a seed of learning and after exploring many styles over the years she became drawn to the dynamic practice of Ashtanga yoga and completed her teacher training in the Elbow Room in Dublin in 2006. She believes yoga is accessible to everyone and feels each class should be enjoyed fully.

She teaches a creative and dynamic vinyasa style yoga with emphasis on movement and breath while maintaining safe alignment and will modify the postures to suit your level. Having experienced positive results from her own practice, Fiona is passionate about sharing this with her students. She feels there is always more to learn from both teachers and students and is committed to ongoing learning and exploring the various styles of Yoga.

Fiona feels blessed to have studied with some great teachers including David Swenson, Kino McGregor, Paul Dallaghan, Emile Wendel and Matthew Sweeney.

She recently travelled to London where she completed David Swenson’s Adjustment Teacher training and will be heading to India in December to complete further studies with him there. Fiona lives in Galway with her husband and 2 children.
